Mini Dim Mak Syllabus

Attack yin with yan technique, e.g. palm strike to chest is more effictive than a punch

Be Combat Efficient

Affect opponents a) balance b) structure c) energy - use intent.

Chain of attack a) block at wrist when punch is thrown b) chop to elbow/bicep c) final attack to neck/head for knockout

If top half of body is strong/tense, bottom is weak (vice versa)

Think of why we do stuff, e.g. Arm pull back when punching, could also be a grab and the punch is a chop

Arm Warm up Palm block, Outer Block, Palm Block, Punch (defender repeats)

Strangle
  • Double upward chop to mid jaw (5)
  • Ginger Fist to side of neck
  • Thumb Front neck, forefinger mid (directly below back of ear). Squeeze (9)
  • If arms too long, chop down on both/one elbow to bring them in.
Hook/Swing/Haymaker
  • Outer block, drop hand chop to mid jaw (5)
  • Outer Block, back of wrist/phoenix fist to armpit (17)
Straight Punch
  • Palm block, Outer, Hand to ear, step through, Cup Hand, strike back of head 45degrees upwards
  • Palm, Grab, chop elbow/bicep (pressure point) bringing head down, cannon punch to neck
On Ground
  • Block kick. Pin foot to floor, knuckes into inner ankle (6) causing attacker to fall, kneel down on inner ankle
  • Block kick, passing over body, push attacker into push up position (can't remember rest)

High 5 Block, isolate little finger, finger/thumb in pressure point in elbow (or push elbow down with arm, hit middle of chest with finger)

Hitch a ride Attacker grabs you left shoulder with their right hand. Grab their hand with your LEFT hand. Right Thumb up behind grasping arm, pull down, turn 45 degrees.

Neck Hug Triple block, arms round neck, ginger fist, Push Up or down.

Nose Grab
Triple block, reach round face with left arm, push dim mak point (20) near nose (1cm approx) from bottom of nose. Pull down.

Grips
  • Pressure point by nose
  • Add grip behind ear to intensify
Misc
  • Knuckle to top of lower jaw (below corner of mouth), holding top of head
  • Knuckle to top of lip by nose (19), holding top of head diagonnaly
  • Rap jaw - use to expose neck for cannon punch
